I love the coconut shrimp here. It’s gluten free which is why we continue to come back when we are near the square. The calamari app is also gf and even though it says it is spicy, it is just salt and pepper seasoning. Love House of Lu and been coming here for 10 years! During that time the coconut shrimp has remained one of the most delicious dishes and I get it every time and never gotten sick.

Went out with my girls and it was a great experience! Service was good and the atmosphere was pleasant on a late evening. The food there was great, they had a good selection of food for us to choose from and enjoy

House of Lu on Marietta Square is a solid spot for lunch with a diverse menu that highlights fresh ingredients and flavorful dishes. Their lunch specials offer a variety of options, making it easy to enjoy a satisfying midday meal. We ordered the fried dumplings which were ok, not sure I would order them again, but the salt and pepper calamari is a must-try: it’s lightly crispy with just the right amount of spice and seasoning. Great service and ambiance make it a popular lunch choice. We also tried the Kung Pao chicken, which had a satisfying kick and fresh veggies that balanced the heat perfectly. With great flavors, attentive service, and a cozy ambiance, House of Lu makes for a great lunch destination.

Excellent fresh flavored food! This family run restaurant strives to provide a healthy flavorful meal in a chic atmosphere. The tradition of cooking from a “Lu” or a flavored broth informs this restaurants non-msg sauces and soups. We’ve been coming for years and they have only gotten better!! Plus decor and service make this feel like a friendly fine dining vibe. Try the coconut shrimp-no one does it better (a lightly sweet and creamy sauce) and the sesame chicken is light and flavorful. Singapore noodles are pungent and fragrant and not too spicy. Just off Marietta Square it’s a lovely place to eat then walk, shop, and visit the Center “Glover Park” with 100 year old oaks, a fountain and gazebo. All together this makes a romantic date or a super meet-up spot for friends.

I've been looking for these kind of fried dumplings ever since I moved here and not only were they amazing, so was the rest of the food. It was the perfect temp to eat after a 20 min drive home and I really like that they saran wrapped the sauces just in case they tip over! Additionally, the man that was behind the bar when I was waiting for my food to finish up was so nice and I appreciated him chatting with me about my upcoming surgery, as I'm quite nervous and talking about it with others has been helpful. All around great experience and I can't wait to go back once I'm all healed

Me and my husband had dinner which was fabulous. Won Ton soup was amazing, I’ve never had a won ton soup with veggie and shrimp and chicken. Highly recommended.

Lunch portions are really big and well priced. The Pho was 14 and the double cooked pork only 10. The vegetables were fresh and delicious. I had the cashew chicken (no pic) and the sweet level was perfect.

Best Chinese food I've had this side of town, a couple unique dishes the standard strip mall locations don't have. Went on a slow Thurs night, service was great and dining room was quiet We dined family style, ordered 3 entries for 2 people and had lots to take home.
